McVille is a very special place. The people I remember from were truly unique and talented. The community had people that really did care about the school and the students who attended the school. This is sometimes rare in a community. The web page looks great. I value the three years that I spent in McVille. I look forward to returning for the all school reunion in '06.

Hi Everyone, On behalf of my father we are searching for relatives of/ and further information about his uncle - Mr. Christ Christensen, who emigrated from Denmark to the USA and lived in Pekin, ND for many years. Christ Christensen was born in Denmark on May 7th 1888 and died in August 1978 in Mcville, Nelson County, ND. His social security number was 502-38-6749. We have some letters and photographs send by him to family and relatives in Denmark. From these letters we know, that he had a daugther called Orpha and a son who's name is unknown to us. He was married but his wife presumably died very young and left him alone with the children. He had a house in Pekin near the church and a farm house in the country side. We hope that some of you can help us with information that can lead us to find our relatives in the US. If we succeed with the kind help of you we are planning on coming to North Dakota and hopefully give my father the adventure of a lifetime. It really means a lot not only to him but also to us to find our American family. We thank you in advance for your kind attention to this matter and we look very much forward to hearing from you. Best regards Rosita Sorensen Linåtoften 41 7451 Sunds Denmark

Outstanding website McVille! I can hardly believe it's already been a year since I left home to take a job here in Washington, D.C. The transition to city life wasn't easy, but I'm holding my own. I always knew the one thing I could count on was the love and support of my family and friends and my town, McVille. I can't wait to come home! My girlfriend Erin and I, will be in McVille from July 2 through July 8 (We're very excited). I hope to see everyone! Please look me up if your ever in the Washington D.C. area (703) 785-9472. Love, Joshua

What a great Web Site. Just found it by accident. You even have the 2006 Centennial dates and the tentative schedule is posted. I know I don't live that far away (Wahpeton), but don't seem to get back there very often - either a wedding or funeral. My mom moved to Fargo over 30 years ago, so don't seem to get back as often. Hope to see a lot of you from the Class of 66 - it'll be our 40th. Sounds old - but really don't feel that way - most of the time.

What a wonderful site! My Grandmother was Ellen Evenson and she lived in Kloten for many years. She mentioned McVille many times very fondly. My mother was Elaine Evenson and she, too had many reminicences. Would love to here from anyone that knew my Grandmother or Mother. Keep up the good work! This is a wonderful site and is a tribute to the wonderful state of North Dakota!

Practice, practice, practice...It is all I do in preparation for the '06 canoe race. If you see Mike Trost, ask him if he wants to defend our late 90's title with me. For anyone else that will enter the '06 race, you may fight among yourselves for second place. Erik

This web site does a great job of showing off a great little town that Randi and I are pleased to call "our hometown". McVille was a great place to grow up, learn and spend time with family. We love coming back for visits with friends and family. Our kids especially love the visits to their grandparent's places (Myrna and Dick Hanson and Curt and Judy Twete) and great grandma's (Florence Nelson and Phyllis Hanson).
